Turdus torquatus torquatus

A regular spring migrant, rare in autumn. Mathew considered it bred "on small streams which run down from the bogs on the Prescelly Mts".  But until 1948, when a pair was found feeding young in an old quarry near Rosebush (J.H.B.), breeding was not definitely recorded.
