Little Bunting - 2020-2018

Very scarce migrant, 5 records since 2000.

2001, one on Skomer 13th May (DB) (accepted by WRP 2013)

2001 One Skokholm 11 Oct (GT).

2001 One Skomer 29 Sept (DPB, JGB)

2006 One was discovered with Reed Buntings Skomer 14 Oct (JGB).

2016  A single St Ann’s Head on 16th April, photo below (DJA, JP).

Little Bunting - 1994

Vagrant

Little Bunting breed from Finland across Russia and winter in central and eastern Asia (Witherby et al 1940). An off-course migrant was recorded at Skokholm on 19 November 1967 (C.Britton).
