The BTO winter atlas showed that Great Northern Divers were present in some coastal 10km squares and the outermost part of the Cleddau Estuary, during the winters of 1981-82, 1982-82 and 1983-84.
The darker the colour, the higher the relative total count for each 10km square. The darkest blue represents over 3-5 birds.

The BTO winter atlas showed that Great Black-backed Gulls were present in most 10km squares during the winters of 1981-82, 1982-82 and 1983-84.
The darker the colour, the higher the relative total count for each 10km square. The darkest blue represents over 60 birds, being concentrated in squares SM 80 & 81.

Goshawks were recorded in only one square during the BTO winter atlas during the winters of 1981-82, 1982-82 and 1983-84.

The BTO winter atlas showed that Goldeneyes were present in both estuarine and fresh water 10km squares during the winters of 1981-82, 1982-82 and 1983-84.
The darker the colour, the higher the relative total count for each 10km square, the darkest blue represents over 27 birds, with up to 47 recorded in SM 91.

The BTO winter atlas showed that Fulmars were present in most coastal 10km squares during the winters of 1981-82, 1982-82 and 1983-84.
The darker the colour, the higher the relative total count for each 10km square. The darkest blue represents over 216 birds. Fulmars occupy their breeding sites on many days throughout the winter.

However, it should be noted that the figures show a high correlation with the number of recording cards returned (therefore related to recording effort) for each 10km square.
