Scoter - 1894

Oedemia nigra

A winter visitor; not rare.

Mr. Dix states that immature birds are not uncommon on the coast. Numbers are seen occasionally in Goodvvick Bay. Sir Hugh Owen shot one off the pier head at Goodwick.
