Mathew knew of three specimens: two from near Pembroke (undated) and one near Tenby c. 1883. W F Bentley records two on mud flats off Pembroke, winter 1900, and three off Milford Haven, winter 1927.  One Carew 1-3 Feb 1923 (H.A.Gilbert)
