British Lesser-spotted Woodpecker - 1949 status

Dryobates minor comminutus

Scarce, but seen at Goodwick (Mathew) and at Nevern, Langwm, Benton and Haverforewest (R.M.L.).  Handbook (of British Birds - Witherby) says "a few may breed".
