Little Stint - 1949

Calidris minuta

"Occasional autumn visitor, rare" according to Mathew.  This is true to-day.  It has been recorded 1988, 1903, 1911, 1928, 1930, 1932, 1933 (Skokholm 11 Sept), and 13 Jan 1939 (Goodwick, nine birds seen by Bertram Lloyd); all autumn and winter records.
