Little Stint - 1894

Tringa minuta

An occasional autumn visitor; rare.

This tiny Sandpiper is sometimes met with on the sands in company with the flocks of Dunlin. It has occurred on Goodwick Sands to Sir Hugh Owen, and Mr. Jefferys, of Tenby, informs us that a specimen was shot on the south sands there in September, 1893. In Mr. Mathias' list.
