Phoenicurus ochrurus gibraltarensis

Regular winter visitor, chiefly from Sept to Nov and March-April, but also seen Dec, Jan, and Feb.  Principally on the islands and in sheltered bays along the whole coast.  Fifty at Skokholm at one time during March 1948.
